A great place for mountain vacation and hiking, the rooms are large, clean and the staff are friendly! Everything here is like a paradise, you are completely integrated with nature! Limited WiFi and no television. But the price was worth it. Different experience. For the area I guess it’s not bad. Friendly staff and a good restaurant. A little shorted staffed.

I’ve stayed in worse hotels, but not for $275 per night. The furniture was a mixture of laminate and vinyl. The weak shower was a tiny fiberglass insert with peeling paint above. The decor was 90s Homegoods. But a great location! I’d probably prefer to camp.

It was OK. I thought a little bit too pricey for the conditions being an older property. Not even a microwave in the room. The surrounding redwoods are beautiful. Therefore, I don’t see the need for having Wi-Fi on top of the cottages. The Wi-Fi wasn’t good anyway, I think it would be better off without it. People want to come and unplug. And some of us can’t sleep when it’s right on the roof.

I personally enjoyed the fact that this was an enjoy nature and the surroundings stay. No TV, news, or internet in my room to get in my way of enjoying Big Sur. It was peaceful and relaxing. The food at the restaurant was good and the staff was courteous. Just sorry I didn't have it booked for a couple of more days so we could visit more parks in the area.

Our lodge room was clean, quiet, surrounded by nature, nice clean trials and FANTASTIC staff. The reason for the four-star instead of five star overall was that we cannot get our heater to work at all😳 we were COLLLDD(45°f). Luckily there was one extra comforter, on top of the closet.

It was ok. No TV in room, ok but internet connection was slow as well - that wasn’t ok when I was trying to work and send. Rooms are ok, a bit tired and I found the cafe staff were more interested in talking to each other than serving. The coffee I was served was so hot it burned the roof of my mouth! I wouldn’t stay here again. 3 stars.

Overall the stay was pleasant and convenient. Staff was very nice. Properly and room was clean. One thing to take note of that it does not have AC. The room can get warm during the day. There is a fan, but when functioning, it does give out hot air when operating while giving off cool air so it’s not super effective. Other than that, very nice stay. Thank you!

The bed is very comfortable. But the heater broke down in the middle of the night made a loud noise. The toilet is leaking. The coffee is not good. Other than that it’s very convenient. The cafe has good selections. The restaurant serve reasonable breakfast and dinner is ok for the convenience.

The ambience of the Lodge was warm and inviting as it was nestled among the Redwoods with wonderful trails in a beautiful setting. The room was large with everything needed and a small balcony. The dining room had delicious food and very friendly, responsive staff.
