The staff was helpful and we enjoyed the breakfasts we had. We would suggest some changes to the property. Our toilet/shower area was tiny and it appears that a short (in length) toilet was installed a number of years ago. In addition, the floor tile and shower tile appear worn. We would recommend remodeling the toilet/shower area with the following improvements: bump out this area approximately 18 inches into the bedroom area, install a normal size toilet, removed the floor and shower tile, replace the flooring with a water proof plank-type flooring, install a solid plastic shower insert and shower pan, and re-plumb and move the shower nozzle and valve to the opposite side of the shower stall.

The person who received us is very helpful and friendly, the room we were assigned is a little old it needs some repairs the toilet is very small and the part where you sit is loose, the air extractor is very old it makes a lot of noise, the good thing is that we only stayed one night

The staff was great! They were very kind and helpful. The hotel however from the outside looks nice and clean the inside is a different story. It definitely needs work on the inside the walls are thin the thermostat in my room didn’t work the elevator hasn’t been serviced in 3 yrs. It is conveniently located next to a Chilis and a In/out burger and a Starbucks across the street.

We stayed at for the Big sur Marathon weekend. The gentlemen that checked us in was very polite and courteous. The customer that checking in before us asked for a late checkout because he was running the marathon. The employee started that he could stay until 1:30pm on Sunday but if it was any later that he would have to pay$60 for a late check out. I having the same request asked for a late check out but was told that I could stay as late as 1 pm or have to pay the fee even though the white board at the from desk said people could have until 12:00 pm it have to pay the late fee. Out first night, we tried to run the air conditioner in our room and the air conditioner only blew hot air, so the next day we asked for it to be fixed. Someone came promptly to fix the air conditioner but after a while he realized it was not fitting to be a quick fix so he asked if we would like to move to another room which we did. On the day of the marathon I got back by 11:30 and called the from desk to make sure that we could still check out at 1:00 but the employee at the front desk said, "no," and we if stayed past 12:00 we would have to pay the late checkout fee even though when we checked in we were told we could stay until 1:00 pm. We needed to check out late so I could eat at In N out, next door, and then I would come back to shower then load the car and drive back home. Instead, we had to rush to pack up so as but to be charged the late check out fee.

This property was very convenient, especially traveling with kids. There was an accessible trail, which leads to two parks, also two food places on the property that were walking distance. The breakfast was good and very convenient. The ducks made noise at night but overall an incredible stay and would book again.
