The place smelled like raid when we first walked in, all the windows were open so there were a ton of bugs, including a brown recluse on the pillow. Pubic hair on pillow cases and sheets. Pinto Beans and prescription pills on floor next to the bed. Bathroom bath tub looked dirty, and pain missing from tub. Office closes at 8pm on a Friday night. So there was no stuff to complain to. They taped up our key cards to the office door where anyone could have grabbed them. And broke into her room while we were sleeping. So much more to say but I'm running out of room to type. I don't recommend staying there and I will never stay there. We didn't stay there and did not get a refund because no one could get a hold of staff. They didn't even know we didn't stay there until Sunday when they called me. Absolutely ridiculous.

From the moment I set eyes on yhis gem I’ve loved it! I recently had surgery that has hydro therapy built in as n part of my regiment. I don’t have a jetted tub at my house I’m pebble. But Rosales has on any time I need it! I also met the long time manager last night - what a lovely woman and such an amazing spot to stay - win win!

The room smelled like urine, there were stains all over the bedding and the bathroom wasn’t even wiped down. The office refused to change my room because of booking with Expedia. Places should have Saftey and sanitation checks on them. I mean nobody in their right mind would be ok paying to stay here.

Love the area. Great process for a good room. Staff was Great! The office closes at 8pm and we were coming late. The office reached out to make sure we were gonna be able to get in. Very polite.

This inn says there is air conditioning, but there is not. You get an overhead fan (which took us nearly 30 minutes to find how to turn it on) and you have to open the windows. The bathroom was completely falling apart (the wallpaper is coming off, they haven't fixed holes in the wall properly, the base moulding does not Align with the tile floors and we had ants in our bathroom, the caulking in the tub is in bad shape. ) i thought a review said it was updated, but the room we were in was not. I wouldn't stay here again.

The room had an unfresh smell, though it was clean, and the furniture can be updated - the sofa in particular. It was very uncomfortable. I always wonder why there is no place to hang towels to dry in the bathroom...

Upon arrival I asked the clerk for room fo disabled and was told none were available. No one occupied the disabled room. The room we ended up with smelled moldy. The bedroom window was broken and could not be locked. It was easily opened from the outside ground level. I called the front desk and was told he would put in a work order for the next day. That didn’t help us as we were only there for the night. I slept with one eye open throughout the night as the bed was right next to the window. The shower/hot tub was not clean so a very brief shower with sandals on was all we could get.

The location is good close to town and beach. Close to routes around Monterey peninsula. Room was adequate, somewhat clean. It was quiet. Parking is ok . Had a suite , so plenty of room. Room had some flaws as far as maintenance is concerned. Some minor and some ridiculous. Little details! Staff interaction was not that great. That would be the main reason why I would not choose this property again.

The hotel is tucked in about a 3 minute drive from Asilomar beach. It’s beautiful. I booked a one king bed room at a great price. The room was very clean and spacious. It has a fireplace that lights very low, but it has one. It has a tub with Jets and it’s spacious (my 5’7 daughter fit perfect lengthwise and width wise there was room for one more). The furniture is outdated but it all works. The bed was a bit flimsy but after a day of walking at the aquarium and at the beach, it did it’s magic. The aquarium is a 15min drive from the hotel. Overall, it’s a great place just needs some fixings to be update and not with tape. I would definitely stay again.

The room that I stayed in needs a lot of maintenance work. I did tell the front desk about the broken showerhead. There were patched up holes in the bathroom walls. No soap holder for the hand soap The mini refrigerator was rusted on the outside and had ice buildup in the freezer. I can feel the springs in the mattress. TV and lamps were all unplugged. I did call the front desk to help with the cable connections. The best thing about this property, was the location. I was only there for a night and the price was reasonable.
