“The Casablanca Hotel has a very collegial staff who take a lot of pride in the property. The hotel has a dining area with a microwave and an electric kettle that makes breakfast easy, and a spot where you can make a cup of coffee when you want. I was especially impressed with the housekeeping staff. Everyone spoke to this 73 old solo traveler and made me feel welcome. This is a quiet hotel in the middle of everything like fruit vendors, bakeries, and walks to La Rambla de Montevideo, and……

“We loved our stay directly across from El Puerto de Montevideo. Be sure to stop in for amazing food and drink, as well as souvenirs! The staff is very friendly, and even though we were there in the winter, we took advantage of the rooftop pool area for some sunshine and relaxation. The Indoor Coffee Shop next door is a great place to start your day in the old town!”
