The AC unit was making a constant, loud sound, the nightstand drawer wouldn’t stay closed. When pushed closed, it open back up all the way. Lastly the bed mattress was on this wooden box frame that protruded out past the mattress leaving hard, sharp corners. These corners were suppose to have covered bumpers, but (2) of these were missing. The drawer and the bed frame pose safety concern for anyone, but especially for our (3) year old that we’re traveling with. We brought these issues to the desk staff attention and we initially told that there were NO more rooms available. Mind you this is around 5pm and we’re are seeing other people check in. After looking long, they found another room that was given to us. Upon getting to this 2nd room, there were (2) glasses on the floor outside the room like someone had recently left the room. When we entered the room, we were hit with a stale, musty smell reminiscent of feet. We also noticed a wall corner bumper off the wall just leaning against the wall. Again we went to the desk staff and were told that there weren’t any more rooms available. When we ask to cancel the reservation we were told that they could NOT refund us our money or parking fee because we booked using a third party vendor. We end up leaving because we felt we were being punished for using Expedia.
