They said they offered tea and sweets in the evening. They did not. Then they offered breakfast at 7. We were leaving for the train. Arrived at 730 to breakfast and the said they were running a little behind. Already a half hour so little isn’t correct. I asked if they could get us anything to grab and go and was told there was nothing. Not even coffee. Both of the previously mentioned things were a deciding factor on booking. Also I’m sure in the price we paid. I feel that they misrepresented themselves and did little to appease me. I was not happy. Could have been the hangry.

the front desk staff / reception was fantastic. 11/10 for hospitality. the breakfast room was a bit chaotic, the solo breakfast staff seamed to have to much to do perhaps having two ppl assisting with breakfast is a good idea, clean up ex. we loved the rooms and building. lovely clean present. we will stay again!

The positive is the staff on duty were very helpful and positive..My TV was not working. and found some dust under bed. The rest was super clean and bathroom was top of its class . Our stay here was a nightmare from the get go. There was so much snow in front of the hotel there was NO WHERE to park to unload your car. Then you have to carry EVERYTHING up slippery stairs to find out there are no luggage carts or elevators. All of our stuff had to be carried up two levels of narrow stairs. The guy working the front desk was so kind to help us but there was no bellman. The room was spacious, but needs updating. The carpet is gross. Bring slippers. The showers is mediocre but sufficient. It was a good location, but down by the Ferris wheel area would have been better. A lot of shops and restaurants were closed because there was so much snow and literally sidewalks weren’t even shoveled. They are now packed down ice mounds. Despite all of this, we had a good time in Montreal. We made the best of it.

The ONLY negative was the lack of parking nearby, and the hotel parking fills up quickly. A list, or map of nearby parking lots would relieve the stress for guests needing to find parking. The hotel was beautiful, historic, and located near the metro. The front desk and staff were kind, helpful and accommodating. They always went out of their way to make sure we had a lovely stay. We really enjoyed our time in Montreal, thanks to the Chataeu Versailles!

This hotel is absolutely stunning, with charming facilities and extremely kind staff. The location is walkable to numerous restaurants and shopping locations, and the bed in the room is very comfortable. The staff helped me find a nail file upon my request and delivered it to the room, in addition to holding my bags after checkout. I cannot say enough about how positive my experience was, and would highly, highly recommend this hotel to any other travelers.

When we got there we were told we had to pay for their "onsite"parking. You really have no other choice. The surrounding area is nice but in the winter their street doesn't get cleaned and you have to leave your car parked in the middle of the street until valet comes. When we got there our sink was clogged and the plumber who came kept shouting expletives while trying to fix it. No one even apologized for the inconvenience or the horrible smell that was left. They didn't even clean the bathroom afterwards when there was dirt and water on the floor from the fix. The breakfast was cold and underwhelming. If you go with a pet they also stuff you in their bottom floor which felt super unwelcoming and like a basement. The location was just about the only nice thing.

Booked this hotel in a pinch when our flights were canceled. Hotel itself is decent, but the rooms are dated, dark and dingy. The walls are also VERY thin, but the staff were great.
