“Wow, this was one of our best stays ever at any vacation rental. Top three worldwide. What made it so great? The owners have clearly traveled and know the usual hassles, and they’ve gone out of their way to make sure guests experience none of them.Tired of places that give you one regular coffee and one decaf? Would absolutely stay again. One note for other prospective guests: there are quite a few stairs (great for us as we have been trying to get more exercise) but perhaps not great for someone who has creaky knees. ”

“We stayed here in the middle of July. The day before we were to arrive I read the previous review and panicked. Called the contact number at about 6pm, which was immediately answered, and was somewhat reassured, but still concerned. But his place is wonderful. The keys were a little stiff, but worked fine. Built in 1893, according to the listing, we expected old. But it was very clean, no smell of mold. The plumbing worked just fine for us (3 adults and an almost 3 year old.) Can't comment on……
