The larger property and the cabin itself are beautifully kept and everything in the listing is as pictured - comfy and nicely decorated and with all the basics for one or two people…but better than pictured because of the amazing setting on the edge of the woods next to a brook. “Property exactly as described. Older house, but very clean - even the downstairs furnace room/laundry room. I was impressed by that! The layout was fun- very spacious, can sleep lots of people. It was a charming place to stay. We used it as our home base for the week while we visited Kennebunkport & Portland for a couple days. Location is perfect & quiet. Quick & easy to get to downtown Stowe.”

We had 12 people and the home’s size afforded us all plenty of privacy. Great stove in kitchen. Plenty of firewood stacked. Off grid living was cool! No TVs!
