Rare Gem on YEAR ROUND DEEP Water of Lake Blue Ridge!

Welcome to Lake Blue Ridge!
The perfect combination of mountain and lake front experience awaits you in this beautiful setting in Morganton, Georgia. The lake has 100 miles of shoreline, with 80% of it being U.S. Forest Service land. Relax in a beautifully maintained log home with five bedrooms and three full bathrooms, located on the YEAR ROUND DEEP WATER of Lake Blue Ridge. Unwind as you gaze out the picture windows at the pristine blue waters and U.S. forest on the opposite shore, picture-perfect every season of the year! With accommodations for up to 15 guests, this is a choice destination for small or large groups of family and friends. A large two story dock with swim platform provides ample space for spending the day on the water. Bring the boat and tie up on the dock during your stay. Check out local boat ramps or rent one at the local marina. The cabin has ample parking, easily accommodating up to six (6) vehicles with two (2) under carport. There are three (3) levels in the cabin, each with a bathroom. The main level includes the kitchen, dining room, living room with wood burning fireplace, and two (2) bedrooms with queen beds. The upper level has a master bedroom with king bed and en suite, as well as a loft area with pullout sofa (full size bed). The lower level has a huge family room and two (2) bedrooms, one with queen bed and twin trundle, the other with a twin bunk beds and twin trundle. The sofa bed in the family room has a queen mattress. Wake up feeling refreshed and renewed on our new mattresses in each room. This home is Internet ready with Wifi available to guests.
Walk out either the main or lower level to decking, then meander to the outside fireplace which is perfect for S'mores or snuggling up with a loved one.
Bring your family dog along for the adventure! Up to two (2) dogs allowed with additional $113 non-refundable pet deposit.

Please Note:

- This isn't a party cabin. We have strict policies implemented in our rental agreement about quiet time, and things not to do to disturb or offend neighbors, residence.

- Rental agreement will need to be reviewed and signed within 24 hours of booking.

- Nightly rates are for up to six (6) guest; additional guest are $25.00 per night, per guest.

- Outside cameras are on the property for security reasons and if needed to enforce agreed upon rental agreement items.

We are a family of 10 we were all in comfy beds. The kitchen was well supplied the views were great . close to Blue Ridge.

The main things that we were not happy about: 1.) Was not clean, floor was dirty, counters and table top was dirty, someone’s Qtips and soap wrapper was in the up stairs bathroom, there were spider webs everywhere. Tons outside, several inside. 2.) Dryer did not work. Very disappointing. Luckily we were only there for 3 full days. 3.) The TV downstairs did not work. We even bought batteries for the remote thinking that may be the problem but nope. And it was college football opening weekend. 4.) The paper towels that were there when we got there were almost gone. Seems petty but every place we have ever stayed had a full roll of paper towels when we arrived. 5.) No outdoor furniture was out on any of the outdoor decks/entertaining areas. In my opinion it should be out, we should not have to get it out. 6.) Decor (furniture, appliances, Knick knacks all was very out dated. The petty things probably would have been overlooked if not for the pretty major things. Things we were happy about: 1.) the location. 2.) the cabin was beautiful built. 3.) the location 4.) the number of rooms. 5.) the location.

It was a short drive to lots on fun things to do. The lake was absolutely amazing. The cove made it calm and great to kayak and paddle board in.

Unfortunately the lake was extremely low during Thanksgiving week and the next door neighbors were having a dock built during our stay. Track hoe and construction noise/visuals of what little water remained in the lake. The house was comfortable and the kitchen well organized. Washing machine takes forever to fill up. Living room fireplace smokes bad without proper ventilation. Outdoor fireplace was nice. Plenty of well lighted parking. Downstairs playroom worked well for the kids. I'd give our stay a solid four stars.

This property was wonderful! Right on lake. So nice to have our boat in a nice deep water dock in front of house. The host was very responsive. We had oven problems but host ordered new appliance. Plus the grill was nice. Quiet. Town of Blue Ridge was fun to explore and shop. Good restaurants. Tubing close by was fun. Living Waters winery most lovely setting and good wine and wine cocktails, plus Cajun food truck.

Easy to rent. Agreement is strict to avoid loud party groups, but that assured me that we were getting a quiet getaway spot. Lake was low, but the dock is on deep water so lots of depth around the dock. Did some paddleboarsing and kayaking. They supply kayaks. Being in a cove kept the water calm. Enjoyed a day walking about Blue Ridge but mostly just came for the quiet, paddleboarding and fishing. Saw lots of bluegill, sunfish and bass swimming around the dock and shoreline. Big plus was allowing dogs. We brought the pup . No sign of extra wear so we tried to leave it like we found it.

My family and I very much enjoyed our short vacation on Lake Blue Ridge. The accommodations were cozy and clean, and the view was unbeatable. The dock and kayaks were a big hit, as was the outdoor fireplace. And communications with the owner (Shane) were quick and easy. We would definitely return again and highly recommend this property.

We love taking our boat out on Lake Blue Ridge, but this was the first time renting a lake house/cabin. Shane’s place was perfect and exactly what we were looking for in our weekend getaway with family and friends. The layout was ideal and we all had plenty of space and everything we needed including beautiful views from all the decks!! I highly recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful family vacation week! Location: Great! Cabin was easy to get to and the cove is one of the best/quietest/deep water coves on the lake. Quiet neighborhood. Accommodations: Plenty of inside and outside room for our family of 6 adults and 1 child. The cabin and furnishings are a bit dated and worn but still very comfortable. A couple of cleanliness issues, but nothing we couldn't remedy ourselves. Just a few dislikes: Dryer didn't work particularly well, no vacuum in the house that I could find, having security cameras looking at us from every angle - felt like "big brother" was always watching us.
