“We had a great time at Ryan’s cottage. It is beautifully situated on a country estate. The cottage had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The town of Ashbourne is lovely and Dublin was only a 30 minute bus ride away. The Ryan’s went out of there way to makes us feel at home. Would highly recommend this cottage for anyone looking to visit Ireland ”

“Our third year at The Pilot Station and once again, it was a wonderful holiday.With the best views for sunrise and sunsets (particularly the sunset), The Pilot Station is a great place to set up base and explore the stunning area; we had a truly relaxing and enjoyable two weeks. The scenery is spectacular and the people are very friendly and welcoming. There are plenty of restaurants in the area for brunches, lunches and evening meals, (in no particular order, but would recommend all of them);……

“Great location, quiet with easy access for day trips to Dublin or Belfast and surrounding areas. Warm, comfortable, spacious cottage for our family of 5 (3 teenagers) walking distance to local bar, clogherhead and coastal towns only a short drive away. ”

“Probably our most memorable stay. The house is amazing with its antique furniture and artwork. The view from our bedroom window was of Newgrange and the surrounding area. What beauty! Walking the grounds was a lovely experience in itself. It was a comfort that the host was nearby and came immediately when there was the slightest issue. A truly lovely woman with so much wonderful information to share! We would love to go back! ”
