We also spent a couple days exploring Northern Ireland which was do able from this location. It's close to Dundalk which pretty much has everything you will. N”

“We received a warm welcome from Eva and discovered a lovely basket of goodies and a well stocked kitchen on our arrival at the Hen House. Beds were comfy, water was hot and sitting area outside was nice after a long day sightseeing. Easy bus ride to Dublin and Howth made for a nice day trip and the Glasnevin Cemetery has an interesting tour that provides plenty of history. Both Eva and Ciaran (hosts) were readily available and happy to offer suggestions and provide info to ensure an interesting……

Only negative is some of the bathrooms would benefit from slightly larger sinks.Overall great stay and Kyran was very helpful, would stay there again if ever in Ireland. ”
