“Exactly what I was hoping for”

“Such a pretty spot! It’s rustic enough to make it feel like a true get-away. We booked this when rain interfered with camping plans. There is much to do within driving distance including fishing and hiking. We brought our pups who enjoyed the deck and yard. There were two other structures right there, so if the owner happens to rent those out too (unknown to me), then you’ll have neighbors. Hopefully owner will correct this review if that’s not the case. Things to know: Bring bug spray and……

“Our stay was great even though it rained 3 days we were there the house is very cozy and if you open up all the blinds it’s like you’re still sitting outside! If you have a dog this is a perfect place to set them up with a long lead and let them hang outside with you or walk the property with them which our dog never got old of! Definitely will be staying here again in the fall. ”

“We absolutely loved our stay here. The cottage was very clean and decorated nicely. If it had rained the entire time I would have been happy to stay inside and read by the living room window. We even had an issue with a door (our fault) and they were so helpful and responsive when we needed help. The water is less of a “lake” and more of a shallow pond but it’s beautiful nonetheless. The towns nearby have amazing food and friendly service. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. ”

“Glad we chose this spot to stay. Host Bob is fantastic. He'd even let us use the sup board and kayak. Great view over the lake.One downside: our neighbours were very noisy. They had a dog and also decided to turn on the television at 05;30 in the morning.”

“The trailer is lovely and really inviting. The location and pond is also lovely. Hosts were very helpful and brought us fresh eggs. The trailer is only suitable to sleep 2 adults. Its also close to a road. We had a lovely time. Especially during a T storm. Camp fire and bbq makes this very agreable stay. ”

“First of all, very impressed with everything provided in the cabin pretty much everything we can think of was already there so we definitely overpacked.. The property was amazing crossing down into the river in the backyard with the fire ring was especially a very cool experience. The big side property was great for a little wiffle ball game with my nephew…. Close by down the road was a nice hike to the fire tower. Overall, an excellent experience. Big plus on Wi-Fi since there’s zero cell……
