With breathtaking views of the Somerset countryside you can happily go nowhere and do nothing or use it as a base to explore the many tourist attractions and local amenities. Love watching the wallabies graze. Close to the rail trail. Tranquil artists retreat. The space This is a family home. It is set up to comfortably accommodate singles, couples and families with primary or high school aged children.
It is designed so that you experience a rural lifestyle and connect with the Australian bush.
We support the local arts community and incorporate many local artists work into the decor. We will change the artwork for time to time.

It is a double storey house. It is situated on a 12 acre Land for Wildlife property. The house is located in the middle of the property. There are also some wrought iron chairs located near the garage which are available to guests. They have a delightful view of sunset over Mt Beppo. The use of the garage is reserved for the owners. A carport is available for guests. It is attached to the house. Other things to note We would love you to be our guests at "Harmony House"! We are about 1hr 15 min from Brisbane. The Somerset region has lots of wonderful activities to enjoy eg Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, horse riding and the Somerset Art Gallery Trail. There is a marvelous old fashioned picture show with slung canvas seats nearby. It shows new releases and snacks at Intermission are something to look forward too. Lake Somerset, Lake Wivenhoe for swimming, boating, water skiing, fishing and canoeing for water lovers. There is a nationally award winning bakery at Fernvale, lots of parks to picnic in, libraries...and a tonne of wildlife you don't see in the city! Toogoolawah (10-15 min drive) has a golf club, tennis courts, lawn bowls, swimming pool, community gym, art gallery, cafes, pubs, bicycle hire shop with shuttle bus service to ride the rail trail.
