“We really liked the seclusion and tranquility of the resort and its closeness to nature. Especially the easy opportunities to see platypus in the wild. The staff was friendly and efficient. Will visit again sometime.”

“We only stayed here for one night and that was fine. It is a beautiful surrounding, very friendly and welcoming staff. The cottage is a bit out of date, definitely can do with a little bit of renewing like the cooking area and the curtains are very old. We found the pillows were way too high, but this is each to their own of course. We would come back as it is not all about the cottage, but it is a beautiful surrounding and friendly staff! Plus it was all very clean too!”

“This property is old and very dated. There was no communication leading up to our reservation.i had to call multiple times to find out which unit to stay in and then to figure out where the unit was. The unit itself is not welcoming. It is dreary and old. There is no place to relax. No toiletries are provided. The walking times on the listing are not accurate. It is a 15 minute drive to Cape Hillsborough Beach. The only positive was it did have hot water and the bed was clean. I would not stay……

“Not a great start. We arrived, had not received a text re cabin access and nobody answered the phone. When checking with Eungella Chalet we discovered that whoever input the dates into their systems had made a mistake. We had no accommodation for first night - dates a day ahead. Fortunately the lady at the chalet managed to find a one night stay at Broken River 5km away and the wonderful host there, Wen, welcomed us plus said she would work out payment with the cabins. Once we were in our cabin,……
