“A massive thank you to Albert and his family for having us stay on their property this weekend. We were incredibly grateful for their extra efforts—fresh bread and homemade cakes to celebrate our anniversary were such a thoughtful touch. It was a joy to watch their daughter with her horses and to see the beautiful Highland cows. The tent was perfect upon arrival, and overall, we’d give Albert a 10/10 for his hospitality and care. Thank you again! We will be back!”

“Easy to enjoy. Staying in a renovated 160 year old building was great. The modern comforts of heating and cooling ensured a great stay. Help was close at hand but not in the way. “We had a lovely stay. House was beautiful and spacious and had a ton of stuff for the kids to play with or read. Grassy area was perfect for cricket or kicking a football and there was a large property to explore. Cosy indoor wood burner capped it off. Thoroughly recommend to others.”

“I booked this property as it was in the area needed for our family function . I read the reviews prior and noticed recurring issues of maintenance and cleanliness . I only hoped that all prior issues had been addressed . No nothing had been attended to in the 3 year period. There were things listed that weren’t even in the property or were broken . All I can say is they made effort with some things but really lacked in others . It’s just disappointing as this property has a lot of potential to……

“Comfortable, spacious and welcoming. So quiet as well. Pantry was stocked with some lovely essentials. Cooked an oven baked pumpkin risotto, and a roast chicken. Coffee and tea selection was a nice addition, as was the eggs and bread. Washed a small load of clothes while we were there too. Happy that there was an Enjo wet mop there, good work.”
