Have to say if your lucky to get a renovated room, its a good place to stay. However, I was assigned a non renovated room so not entirely happy, I blame Expedia for this as they have sold a room showing in accurate pictures and also blame the motel for allowing Expedia to do this.
I almost call this a SCAM as Expedia do this often and accept no responsibility and they blame the motel and the motel blame Expedia. On the upside, at least a run down room was clean. So the property is making an effot. My advice is to confirm with the motel if your assigned a renovated room, if not assigned a renovated room, I would suggest seeking a price reduction.
