We're on Cave Creek and are surrounded by the Gene Rush Wildlife Management Area (no hunting on the cabin property,) and we are only five miles from the Carver Input on the Buffalo National River, known for excellent canoeing and float trips.

Outfitters for Buffalo River floats are at St. Joe (34 miles,) Jasper (24 miles) and Ponca (38 miles.) Floating is seasonal and rain dependent, but a short drive to reach your outfitter is a great way to experience the beauty of Newton County and enjoy some of the best vistas Arkansas has to offer.
