"Lovely older hotel - lotsa stairs to some of the rooms but not an issue for us. Very nice rooms, comfortable bed, great hotel staff. Great breakfast, great location close to shopping, train and bus, and ferry terminal. Great breakfast and nice restaurant overall."

"We enjoyed our stay! Good location on the beach in walking distance of restaurants and relatively easy to park on the street. Friendly staff, and great food at the restaurant. Breakfast was solid too with the option of kippers to go with a full-English-type spread. Would recommend!"

"Great location. Parking space on car park to the rear. Spotlessly clean. William the receptionist / caretaker was excellent. Has everything you need. However, it sells itself as a luxury apartment and it doesn’t live up to it. Eg. In the bedroom there is only one bedside table and lamp. On one corner ..."

"We had a lovely stay. It’s a lovely set up and we thought it was perfect. No noise except the sheep in the field so very peaceful. Everything you could want is provided. Warm and comfortable."

Great little place
"Wonderful in-city location, walkable to shops, pubs, electric train, and other transport. Home was well appointed, fantastic ‘user notebook’ informative for all features of the home. Parking was tight but managers gave easy alternatives. Highly recommend for a stay."
