“Home was very clean. Enjoyed walking by the river. Kids enjoyed everything and being outside. Plenty of board games to play. Very beautiful home. Will be staying again! ”

“This property is really just off the trail. The owner is so nice and accommodating. Loved the bedrooms. Also liked that there were flyers for delivery since we were on bikes and had to come up a large hill to get to the property. Would love to stay here again if ever doing the Gap Trail again. ”

“Had a wonderful reunion with my college friends in this home - it was the perfect place for our gathering. Some notable day trips include Washington DC and the Green Bank Radio Telescope Observatory, plus lots of hiking and river activities all around! A quick glance at the welcome book and it looks like a number of people complained about the bugs - what were they doing in a cabin in the woods if they didn't want to see some harmless bugs? Had a lovely time, bugs, friendship, and all :)”

“Clarysville Motel is a newly renovated, well managed, reasonably priced motor lodge - combining convenience and comfort. The room was very clean with a coffee maker, microwave, and a large refrigerator. The bathroom had a new shower insert, big, fluffy white towels, and plenty of hot water. The owner and son were very attentive to our needs providing bags of ice and even meeting us in the middle of the night when we lost our key. It was very convenient to Delfest and we look forward to returning……

“ A fantastic place to stay in the Oldtown/Cumberland area. The house is super cute and very convenient to Oldtown and the C&O Canal, and it’s an easy drive into Cumberland if needed. Everything was peaceful and the countryside is very pretty. Also our host was great; no problems. Would stay here again! ”

“The Yellow house was very nice the rooms we neat and clean they were supplied with a good variety of kitchen ware. Just needed some large bowls for salads or mixing up pancakes. The bathroom was large and the washer and dryer was great. The only issue was parking but we found a spot a block up from it and the neighbors were helpful getting our vehicle out of the snow.Thanks again for the home away from home.”
