Stunning night skies at Huntleigh Cottage

Three bdrm cottage on a farm with peaceful country views from bedrooms, lounge and deck.
Enjoy evenings on the sundrenched deck or in front of the woodfire BBQ.
We are 7kms off State Highway 87, 45mins to Dunedin Airport. An ideal stop off on your way to or from Central Otago.
Guests rave about the stunning night sky and beautiful sunset through the trees.
This is a cosy farmhouse where guests can relax and unwind.

The cottage is simple and comfortable and with a lovely sheltered garden setting, guests choose our cottage to be away from the hustle and bustle of a town and busy road noise.

Take in the stunning vista of the Strath Taieri Valley while staying and do the a 2.5km walk in the paddock beside the cottage.

There is a sandpit and toys close to the cottage for small children to enjoy and an established orchard fun for climbing in and playing around.
Access to nearby farmland can be arranged with prior notice. No access is avail during lambing season - Sept to Nov.

Middle of Nowhere
After driving a long time on gravel roads, we finally arrived at the rental house, which was difficult to find. We decided not to stay as it wasn't near anything but country hills and sheep. When we went to leave we discovered we got a flat tire, and had to stay the night. We weren't allowed a key and the back door didn't lock or close properly. The host gave us a small amount of money back and offered to drive our luggage to a paved road. This cottage is more for their farm workers or their personal guests.
