Review of La Conner Channel Lodge – Admiral Suite The exterior of the property is beautiful, and the location is very convenient to everything in La Conner. The seating area in the back is especially lovely and a great place to relax. However, we experienced several issues that detracted from our stay—especially given the high cost of the Admiral Suite. One of the main reasons we chose this suite was the jetted tub, which initially didn’t work. We called the front desk but didn’t receive a timely resolution. Eventually, we went down in person and the issue was fixed—turns out an outside breaker needed to be reset. It would have been helpful to get that information sooner. The room also felt quite stuffy. There were supposed to be directions for operating the ventilation system, but we couldn’t locate them. On top of that, we found ants in the bathroom. Overall, it’s a beautiful place with great potential, but the service and maintenance were not up to the standard expected for the price point.

We had forgotten it was opening day for boating season. Lucky for us we enjoyed the Swinish Yacht Club Opening day boat parade from our room! We love this place. Great breakfast with something for everyone! The room was well appointed and all amenities were anticipated! Even chairs out on the lanai. What a lovely weekend!

We really enjoyed our one night spontaneous stay at La Conner Channel Lodge. We literally booked the room as we were walking in to check out the lobby. The staff were super friendly and informative. The room we stayed in had a view of the water--right on top of the water. The lodge is walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, wine tasting, etc. The next time we are in La Conner this is where we will stay.

The staff at the front desk were rude. On the morning we checked out (4/13/25 at 9 AM) the girl at the front desk was on her phone. I inquired about purchasing their granola and she said, I’m not selling anything right now…and went right back to her phone conversation. We have stayed here many times and the staff is just young and inappropriate.

Nice lodge in a good location for shopping and dining within walking distance. The building had a funny smell in it, the room was small in size, parking was tight and the tv was very small and hard to see from bed. The lobby was nice and the jet tub was a good size. We felt this lodge was over priced for the month of April, but we did enjoy our stay. Probably try a different place next time for the money.

We got a room with a view of the Swinomish Channel, and it's lovely. There's a gas fireplace, a view of the water, and quiet. The hotel staff is great.

This hotel was highly recommended to us by family. We were very disappointed. First the jacuzzi tub was filthy. We filled it up and turned the jets on, and a layer of dirt made a ring around the edges of the tub. It was truly gross. Then, my husband tried to use the shower, and the knob was broken. He eventually got it to turn on, but then there was no was no way to control the temperature and it was cold. Lastly, the bed was the worst mattress we've ever tried to sleep on! For a hotel that we expected to be a boutique style stay,(that we carefully selected for our anniversary) it was nothing that we had expected. The only nice thing was the location and view. We won't be staying again.
