“Chill and comfy place to stay for the night. Especially if visiting the fossil beds ! I came with a friend but would feel safe solo too. Owners were super nice ! There’s a bar right next door and a cafe which good drive thru breakfast right down the street within walking. Found a hair in the pillow and a stain on the blanket so only reason it’s not a 5, but it wasn’t a big deal to me personally ! ”

“The Lake House is a perfect vacation home. Everything you could possibly need is provided - a fully stocked kitchen, a big front porch where you'll want to spend all your time on a sunny day, really comfy beds, plenty of bedding, beautiful views, peaceful and quiet. We stayed 4 nights. The location was great for exploring the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument, and surrounding areas. You will love this house!”
