“Great Stay!This was our second trip to Lake Burton and the Burton Lake Escape property. Our first trip was late winter and this time we wanted more time in and on the lake. We got it! The property is located in a wide cove that allows for great kayaking/ canoeing and swimming. We were able to rent a pontoon boat from The Boat Shop and it really enhanced our stay. The property is really well provisioned and the host great to work with. By the way it is dog friendly and our golden retriever……

“Except for the steep driveway in, the cabin was wonderful! We had everything we needed for the weekend. We especially loved the chimes from the nearby church. Peaceful and serene....we will definitely be back!”

“This home checked all of our boxes, absolutely private, yet only 5 minutes to the Cashier’s crossroad. incredible view, spacious, well stocked and maintained. So comfortable and relaxing! The crowning glory is the gorgeous pool and waterfall, we literally lived in the screened in porch. Our host was a great communicator and made everything so easy. Highly recommended this beautiful property!”

“This place is AMAZING The hosts were very understanding of our need to be antisocial. we showed up, were greeted, they offered to help us settle in, we declined, they offered company, we declined, we didn't see them again until checkout. This place is beautiful and very quiet. Perfect place to relax and I genuinely don't think I could have found anywhere better ESPECIALLY for this price. They have a lovely selection of games/DVDs. Will definitely be coming back as soon as possible ”

“Tucked away in a nice neighborhood, the lot is secluded and private. Easy access to Hiawassee and Clayton for dining, fishing, hiking and sightseeing. The cabin was well stocked and cozy. The amazing creek was the greatest feature! Only suggestion, please add screens on the family room doors so you can hear the creek while inside!Highly recommend.”
