The ONLY signs around inside hotel stated”staff on property and # to call.” Nobody answered. Heard phone ringing in locked lobby while waiting over 45 minutes in the dark before giving up. Fell tripping on crumpled parking lot. My friend tripped on narrow steps leading outside to parking lot due to (no lights on at night inside public use area or outside building) No info in room or public areas to find anything including ICE, FIRE EXTINGUISHERS, etc.. No phone in room for emergency, lobby supposed to be open 24 hrs WITH staffing. Zero staff because 1 left and next shift never showed. Would have had to use cellphones to call 911 if anything happened in room. Expressed concerns to management. She agreed wasn’t good. That’s it. She left before her replacement showed to work. Only snacks or drink vending INSIDE locked lobby. Had diabetic episode. Had to find a store to get juice. Nothing close was open at 11:00 pm. With no information in room, didn’t know where to look. Web page didn’t give enough local info to even find a store. No elevators. And stairs didn’t access entire floors. It was a maze in the dark to finally find THE ONLY ICE MACHINE. My friend and I stayed there for a night to relax away from kids. It was extremely stressful. The manager was very nice. But after she left without insuring staff was on site. Things got scary. Room was ok. Not really comfortable or warming. Was more like a hospital room for 2. TV static on every station. WiFi spotty. Not again!
