“Collier Cabin was a perfect base camp for our family-of-two Ozark National Scenic Riverway adventure (kayaking on the Jacks Fork - Alley Spring to Eminence, swimming at Rocky Falls and Johnson's shut-ins SP, visiting Prairie Hollow Gorge and Barn Hollow Gorge natural areas, plus we found the Shawnee Creek wild horses). “This is a great property in the Ozarks! Although its off the beaten path, it was worth it. The property had roaming horses (6) of them. They were such a joy to watch and pet! We did not see the owners during our stay, but knew they were close if we needed anything. Over all the stay is something we would do again. I will say that we as guest vould ha e been better prepared for outdoor cooking by bringing charcoal and lighter fluid lol. We will be back”

“I usually stay closer to Eminence when I am in the area for float trips. I decided to try going a little further south and find something a little nicer this year. I’m glad we did because Stormy Mountain Ranch was much better than any place I’ve stayed around Eminence in the past. The host was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed. It was nice to have a full kitchen as well as a grill and rocking chairs on the front porch to enjoy a cup of coffee in the mornings. We are looking……
