“Schönes Ferienhaus mitten in der Natur umgeben von Korkeichen. Das man nach einer aufregenden Fahrt mit dem Auto erreicht. das Haus ist mit einem Kamin und rustikaler Dekoration aus der Gegend. Maria und Manolo waren beide sehr freundlich zu uns.”

“A lovely, cosy Alentejo style cottage situated in a rural area surrounded by vineyards, cork and olive trees. Everything was as described in the listing and the local property manager was lovely and made the check-in and check-out process seamless. A nice welcome basket was awaiting us of local wine, cheese and bread. Sadly, the view of the fields from the back patio was blocked by overgrown vegetation during our stay. The lemon tree was full of fruit and we were encouraged to pick them to make……

“We stayed one night at this place and it was a pleasant experience. One thing we noticed however were the ants in the patio which eventually made their way into the washroom. Not sure if we had stayed longer if they would have been all over the house but they were certainly all over the washroom in a short period of time. A minor suggestion would be to place a shelf in the shower to have a place to put shampoo/soap, etc.”

“A really comfortable stay. Easy to park in the road outside if you are willing to keep the car within inches of walls. Well appointed, but you need to be aware that it is a back-to-back property so has no window in the bedroom area at the rear and the front window is small. However. we thought it was excellent for our week; quiet, but very much a local village atmosphere. Brilliant local restaurant; good food and wine and good value at 30 Euros for a big meal for 2.
