“Really pleasant, helpful staff.”

“Beautiful elegant cottage, wonderful ambiance and surrounded by incredible scenery. Equipped with everything you could think of and more. Owners super helpful and friendly.Pool a bonus, brilliant to chill after visiting the local beauty spots some of which are practically on the doorstep.The only downside - we only had 3 nights. Hope to visit again at sometime.”

“Excellent communication from host & easy check in with key lock. Room was spacious & comfortable for our family of 4. The only negative was that we hadn’t realised that bathroom would be downstairs, which resulted in the kids being a bit anxious about going on their own, as it’s a shared house and they weren’t comfortable wandering around the house on their own with strangers. Not a problem for the adults, but the kids weren’t comfortable. ”

“We were double booked into the house we had paid for but we were taken to a different one around the corner. For the price we paid it was adequate and clean. Sharing a bathroom with 3 lads who had also been double booked into the same house was not too much of a problem and having a fully functioning clean kitchen helped to catering costs reasonable. ”

“We had a lovely stay in this lovely cottage. The views were so beautiful! The cottage was cosy and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for exploring the Peak District. We would definitely recommand and would love to come back!”

“the Cottage is well equipped. Everything is there to make a stay enjoyable. Nice bathroom, nice shower and enough towelswhaley Bridge is a great base to explore the Peak District. There are a few nice pubs and a few good restaurants and lots of good takeaway. Also a very good sandwich shop and a wine shop. There is a large Tesco nearby for groceries.We will definitely be back.”

“Great communication from owner before & after stay. property was clean, but tired in places. We were heading to Alton Towers so was a perfectly good place for 1 night at a reasonable price. ”

“really comfortable stay - the cottage is cosy but has high ceilings so no banged heads and it doesn't feel cramped. beds really comfy. fantastic location - amazing walks from outside the front door. lovely pub in the village down the hill. and the owners run the tea room next door so left us a lovely plate of cakes on arrival! ”
