“Heel apart verblijf in nette niet al te grote maar kamer die groot genoeg is met comfortabel bed. De opvang en begeleiding is fantastisch. Er wordt een geweldig diner verzorgd en lekker ontbijt. Jammer dat af en toe aangekondigd de stroom uitvalt, maar daar kunnen de hoetelhouders ook niets aan doen.”

“We only stayed a single night on the way to Johannesburg airport, but we enjoyed all of it. Wonderful room with fantastic views and a G/T on the terrace. Nice homecooked dinner and breakfast and overall just great service. We felt very welcome. Only downside was that the mosquitoes were as happy to see us as Holger and Norma. Glad this is not a malaria area. ”

“Many years ago, before the infamous conflagration that destroyed part of the hotel, I stayed there. Also, every Sunday, my family and I would indulge in tea/coffee with fresh scones, cream and strawberry jam. The bar, then, was most charming. Le Lodge est situé près de la rivière où séjournent des hippopotames que l on peut voir tous les jours. Les chambres sont propres et la cuisine très bonne. Séjour en mai 2025. ”
