“Lovely cottage in fantastic location but could do with a few improvements. Boiler kept failing, usually when having a shower, tap in kitchen needs tightening as very loose and when toilets flushed, very loud vibrating noise throughout. Need to put bedside cabinets in all bedrooms. TV aerial needs putting on. Pub next door can be very noisy at night.”

“Three generations met for a suprise 70h birthday. Chevalier Estate is ideal for this as each family group had their own space but we could get together in the magnificent Dragon Hall. The accomodations are exceptionally well thought out and equipped. "Less IKEA more Sophie Conran" as one daughter observed. The fittings, linens, rugs etc are all very high end and all the properties are spacious with lovely sitting areas and kitchens. The booking process and all communications with Lady Laura……

“Property was what we expected. Only niggles I’ve got are: Beds in the second bedroom were a little small, I’m 5’11’’ and was too tall for it. There was a constant sound from what could have been a boiler that did keep me up at night. Host was responsive and polite though. Overall good stay. I’d recommend, but for slightly smaller people who don’t mind constant noise.”

“The description of the accommodation is inaccurate and misleading. There is no kitchen within the accommodation itself, there is a shared kitchen. The furniture was of very poor quality, especially the mattress which was also stained. The shower drain was blocked. There was nowhere to store clothes other than four hangers. The carpet was stained. The bedding was cheap and poor quality. The crockery and cutlery provided was cheap and mismatched. The entrance hallway smelled. Worst of all there……
