“Great property. Quiet, quaint, and peaceful. My only recommendations for improvement would be to do a contactless check-in like Casa Lobo. This would save time for both the management/owners and any potential guests. Then people can just check-in with a special pinpad or lockbox. Especially since the doorbell is not working anyways. The Treehouse could also probably use some new blankets, pillows, and sheets as even after going through the laundry it still smelled like the prior guest. A couple……

“Do not book here. Literally no customer service. Signs are not clear on where the hotel is. The beds are the most uncomfortable beds ever. You’re better off sleeping in a hostel for cheaper. There’s two night clubs that blast music all night; which is what was expected. But the clubs were super lame overall. You’re pretty much in a room with a double bed and that’s all to it. “The house is beautiful and the host was so responsive and helpful. We encountered a few spiders around the house, and he brought us a repellent spray.From the top floor of the house, you get a beautiful sight of the lake and the mountains. I woke up with a sight of the sun shining on the mountain. Bring eye masks to sleep if you want to wake up late. There’s no blinders for the second floor where the beds are.We don’t stay at the house at noons, but the second floor can get hot around middays……

“The mark of a good rental in my opinion is whether you would rent it again and l will! I loved the design and feel of this house. Above the living quarters was a nice deck with a great view and nice area for meditation and yoga. The bed and pillows were nice comfortable and clean. The outdoor bathroom had a great view the lake, yet was private. There were plenty of Tuk-Tuks going by to catch a ride into San Marcos. Alsoutdoor bathroom wascomfortable. ”

“The cabin has terrible access roads had an SUV and had a hard time getting there, once there one of the bedrooms has no heating, no fridge and the only way to heat the leaving room is by using firewood that has to be brought from outside and really hard to light up, top bedroom its only accisable by a ladder a construction ladder, showers can only be used hot or cold imposible to get warm water to shower and top bedroom shower does not work only water spicket, no internet working try both……

“Only there for a night. The host/manager could have done a better job explaining how to get there, instead of simply suggesting to use Waze maps! Also, they are building a new house at the bottom of the property, so it's a little dangerous having to walk thru a construction site to get to the beach down below.
