Conveniently located in downtown Munising nearby Lake Superior and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, as well as by some of Munising's best restaurants, breweries, wine tasting & shopping, this newly remodeled apartment is a peaceful retreat at the end of a long day kayaking, hiking, snowmobiling or boating! Features all the comforts of home including a propane grill & picnic tables in backyard (shared area with other guests), central air & kids Pack ‘n Play. Whether you enjoy cooking in the full equipped kitchen, relaxing by the flat-screen TV or stopping by one of the breweries or restaurants located right across the street, this beautiful apartment is the perfect home away from home during your Munising stay!

Free washers and dryers (2 each) makes quick work of laundry, and for EV drivers, a newly installed 40A Level 2 EV Charger ensures your car is topped off and ready for adventure!

***Note this building has an Ecobee thermostat and we adjust it from an app as requested. The thermostat controls the entire building.

*** There is a doorbell camera mounted at the entryway of the building for security purposes.

So-So place in a great location

Overall this property is fine. It is one of three in the building. There were some issues however with our stay, for instance, the bathroom door latch decoupled fron the bathroom door knob preventing me from exiting the bathroom. Additionally the floor of the kitchen and bathroom is not level. There is a hole in the kitchen floor. Some of these issues did detract from my wife's and my enjoyment of our stay. Overall I didn't think the rental rate was appropriate for the property's condition or issues. I did not find rhe bed comfortable, my wife did. It is very soft and excruciatingly wobbly and creeky when tossing or turning. That being said it was nice to have a full size refrigerator, stocked dishes, and a tv which I was able to cast my phone to so that we could stream entertainment. Internet was fast enough for both of us to use. My biggest issue is the rental company provides an app to control the thermostat, but the app isn't available on any app store currently. I called the host to adjust the heat (we visited during a 40° rainy week) and had it set. The host was helpful and responsive, but even set to an appropriate temperature, it was super hot as the heat runs constantly to a cooling temperature and then cools constantly. I don't think it would be difficult to just install a thermostat for guests to use in the properties. The cleaning fee is charged despite guests doing a vast majority of the cleaning. We found prior guest trash under the couch. 2 or 3 out of 5.

Great stay!

Great place to stay in Munising! Apartment was very clean and had a fully stocked kitchen. Was here in the Fall to see pictured rocks and it was only a 15-30 min drive to the holes we went on! Would highly recommend.

Nice space and great location

Enjoyed everything about our stay. The only frustrating part was trying to get a hold of any of the contacts provided. The welcome email indicated an app or attached info about accessing the property. When I called the numbers listed, it would go to a voicemail and direct me to call another number. Took several hours to make contact, but luckily, there is a delightful brewery right across the street. Everything in the property was clean, and many minor amenities were available for use.

Cute and Clean

My partner had never been to a lot of the iconic locations in Michigan. We planned a marathon road trip and stayed here one night while exploring Pictured Rocks on Labor Day. The property was very clean and well stocked with towels, dishware, shower products, and dish soap/sponges which I’m sure would be handy if we had stayed longer. I did need to clarify how much of the bedding we needed to strip down as part of the checkout notes, but it was very easy to get in contact with the property management. The only negatives, and I say these lightly, is that there was no curtain in the kitchen window (which overlooks parking), and the floor in the kitchen is sloped. If you’re traveling with someone who’s unsteady on their feet, just be advised. Overall, we had a very positive experience and would likely stay again if we ever visit Munising again for a longer stay.

Home away from home.

I was so satisfied with our stay at the Tree house. We were walking distance to many places we wanted to go, without having to worry about parking. The property managers were very punctual in replying to any questions we had. Another nice thing about our stay was the parking pass for the State Parks.

Paying customer shouldn't be asked to be janitor too.

Good location as far as walkable to dining & shops and liked access to laundry in building. Did not like that we were asked to do so much cleaning up when we were paying not only a pricey nightly rate but a cleaning fee as well. Would look elsewhere if visit area again.

This property was fantastic, the location in Munising could not have been better as it is walking distance from several restaurants as well as Lake Superior. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. The only downside is that the shower head is so low, that it cannot be used by anybody taller than about 5'6".

Nice place & location

This property was very nice and clean. It had ample towels and a supply of hand soap, paper towels, TP. Just big enough for my husband and myself. The location in downtown was great for walking to restaurants, gift shops and Lake Superior. The only negative - we were not able to control the cooling and it was very cold. It was controlled by a central system. But, overall WE WOULD DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN!

Great location

My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for the 2 of us. The location is within walking distance to so many things. We really liked going on evening walks especially by Lake Superior. It’s so pretty at sunset. I would definitely stay there again.

The property is pretty close to all the dinning options, there is a brewery just right across. Overall the property is great, but the shower was too small even for some like 5’4 you wont be able to get under the shower head and the water from the tub took for ever to drain. If you are not used to well water the smell might get you..

Fabulous

This cabin was absolutely fabulous!! It was cozy and loved the closeness of the river and nature. Loved the nightly campfires while staring out over the river and up into the moon lit sky!!! Not far from all the beauty waterfalls and pictured rock tours. Perfect location and cabin to stay in!!

Amazing view and River Access

What an incredible place to call home for a few days. Beautiful river In the backyard, room to put a kayak in down there. We brought our pontoon and wave runner and their was plenty or room for both trailers and a few extra cars. Short distance to lake superior.

Perfect house, great location!

Very clean and well maintained. Plenty of room for our family of 4. The kids each loved having their own bedroom. The beds were very comfortable. The house is well equipped with anything and everything that you could need for your stay. We loved the open living area. The large dining table was great for family game night (many board games provided). The living area has plenty of seating. The breakfast bar was perfect for a quick breaks fast before we headed out for the day. We enjoyed dinners on the side deck. The fire pit was perfect and we appreciated all of the supplied fire wood. The river is clean and sandy in this location and we enjoyed watching the ducks. We also saw a beaver and a bald eagle by the river. Use of the garage was appreciated, as we were able to lock our mountain bikes away while not using them. The location is perfect, halfway between Munising and Marquette. The Au Train Grocery is well stocked and has delicious pasties. The Au Train bridge is very close and fun to jump off of (while not under construed course). The management company was quick to respond to our questions. Would absolutely return to this property again.
