“I suspect this is a totally refurbished Communist-era hotel but it has been refurbished magnificently. It is just over the river from the Central Park and just below the wooded Belvedere, creating a quiet, almost non-urban setting. It is an easy 10 minute walk to all the sights in Cluj and there is a bus stop with a goodconnection to the train station just beside the main entrance. Breakfast was sumptuous and generous too.”

Wir konnten über unser Handy ein Fussballspiel auf dem grossen TV in der Bar anschauen und wurden in der Zeit freundlich mit Getränken und Essen versorgt. Bad war groß, mit separater Dusche und Badewanne. Frühstück war gut, optional mit nach Wunsch zubereitem Omelett. Die typischen, warmen Cookies bei Double Tree wurden beim Einchecken auch nicht vergessen.……
