I will not reinvent the wheel by repeating words from our former visit reviews, but I will say that for anyone who loves staying in a well furnished (historical) home with super comfy beds and a well equipped kitchen -- while still being able to bring your four legged friend and still get away from it all -- this is your place.It is certainly our ShangriLa, and we love that Phyllis provides access to such a wonderful dog-friendly home……

“Great place to stay. Secluded, quiet and very relaxing. Saw deer, rabbits and squirrels during the day and heard the owls at night. Very impressed with host communications. Highly recommend and we will return again. ”

“If you're looking for a place just to sleep and be one with nature this is it! Kinda like glamping. There was mice poop everywhere, it's that time of year, didn't scare us. But their was no forks, towels, napkins, they only provided 1 trash bag we went through in a hurry and had to use grocery bags for garbage. Ran to gas station for forks and paper towels. The oven dorsnt wirk, so took 4 hours tobake a 20min bitter braid. Other than thst a good place to rough it and relax”

“Came for a quiet getaway and a little trout fishing. This cabin was perfect for that. Secluded but not remote. Easy to get to. I wish that it had been a bit warmer so that we could have used the wonderful porch. However, the interior was very comfortable and clean, so it all worked out nicely.”
