“Cabin is cozy and I love the porch and the fire place. Was really disappointed in the cleanliness. Dirty floors, dead lady bugs in the windows and live ones throughout the cabin. Roof is leaking into the cabin and black mold on bathroom ceiling and the back room. Fireplace and grill had to be cleaned out before use. I don't like leaving bad reviews but the mold isn't safe. I wanted to let you know so hopefully it can be addressed. ”

“Stay was awesome. We found our cabin quickly because we had instructions from owner. But address wasn’t correct, no sign at entrance, so our daughter could not find us tell we talked to her. Had everything we could possibly need to complement our cooking. Good beds, good appliances, huge rooms, beautiful interior wood walls & floor. Pieces making up the doorways were exceptional. We had a great time.Could have used more outside area for hosting small gathering, ( meaning picnic table, outdoor……

“We stayed in this cozy studio cabin over the weekend and absolutely loved it! It was peaceful and quiet, with breathtaking views all around. The covered porch was perfect for enjoying a morning cup of coffee. We were on the go with friends during our stay, but we’re already looking forward to coming back and relaxing more — especially around the firepit while taking in those stunning views.”

“Beautiful home, quiet land with lots to enjoy, and a wonderful host. Everything was super easy - thanks to the great communication with the host. We arrived to a hand written card & drinks to help celebrate our anniversary. The house had everything you would need and more the bed was comfortable!! It really felt like our home away from home. We absolutely will stay here again! ”

“The cabin was nice as was the area where it's located. It was stocked with everything you could ask for, dishes, towels, flatware, even coffee and we liked it a lot except for 2 things... the Internet was very slow and spotty. It seemed to do okay with the TV and our phones, but once the laptop was connected, all internet service stopped. This was the same for all three days we were there. Also, it might be helpful if one of the Uncle Joe's Creek Retreat signs were placed at the actual entrance……

“We need a place to stay the night because we had a doctor appointment the next day. We arrive around 4:30 got settled quickly and ran to town to grab some dinner. The unit Ruby was clean, comfortable, and close to town. Internet was quick, we had two phones, two iPads, and a lap top all on at the same time. We would definitely stay again. ”
