“Excellent hospitality, nice breakfast with local bread, fruits, variety of ham, cheese, jams etc and good coffee. Spacious and clean room. The owner had a cute Italian greyhound. A knight use to live here in the 1800s, which makes this place more special.

“The hostel is very good and the staff was very attentive. I really appreciated the luggage storage service you can choose the locker size you need and pay directly, very convenient. The location is also great, close to the city center and easy to get around. The room was comfortable and the shower was amazing very nice with plenty of hot water. A solid option for a stay in Brussels!”

"Very nice location and hotel! It gives you a warm welcome feeling with its scents. Beautiful room and helpful staff. Very easy to walk to most of the places to visit and super close to the central station!"
"I think the room is okay. It is clean and big enough. However, the facility is quite antiquated. When you want to check in, you have to carry your luggage and climb three stairs. If you want to deposit your luggage at the hotel. You need to deposit it in the locker, but half of the locker is not available. Furthermore, the locker is at the basement, so you need to wait for the chance to go to the basement, since the elevator will go up stair first."
"Hotel constantly tries to upsell - get spammed with emails before arrival about add ons. Was told at reception on arrival at 1.30pm that the room was ready, but hotel policy was that I couldn’t be given the key until 3pm. Asked for luggage storage and was directed to take my suitcase down a flight of stairs and then had to pay a further fee for luggage storage. Unfriendly staff - there are better options around, so don’t bother here."
