“We had a pleasant stay at the Hotel de France. The location is perfect as it is walking distance from the train station and in the city centre. You have plenty of bakeries and shops around the hotel. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We actually slept like babies as the bedding was so comfortable! We booked the breakfast too, which was very good. It had a lot of local products. The only area of improvement I would recommend to the hotel would be to upgrade their amenities for a more……

“Lovely place to stop over on the way home, pool a good size and lovely to swim in, lots of sun beds. Only dropped a star as the bathrooms were very tiny (my husband is nearly 2m) and dated, also it was a challenge to carry 3 very heavy cases to the room without a lift. We had a family room which was in the chateau and was spacious with plenty of storage etc. Kids enjoyed it! Area was beautiful, staff very helpful and friendly. Would use again. ”
