“One of my favorite stays during my trip to South America. Can’t beat the location, cleanliness and that new feel. I loved everything about this hotel.”
“Friendly staff who goes the extra mile. They drove down to the bus station to deliver hiking poles to my lady who forgot them in the room. Great breakfast fantastic views”
“The staff were awesome and let us check in early which was a lifesaver and were lovely to chat to during our stay. Super warm rooms means dry overnight. Walkable to loads of restaurants and nature reserve etc. Would Def's stay here again”
“The CEO of the hostel, Danny and his wife are extremely friendly, they make every effort to make your stay at home. They also provide private transportation to the airport and bus stations at very reasonable prices. We enjoyed our stay very much.”
“Great apartment for a few days stay. Short walk to the Main Street and lots of dining options as well as a grocery store nearby. Place was spotlessly clean and heating worked well. This is an older style building but has been updated very nicely with tasteful soft furnishing touches. Excellent value”
“Though a bit of a walk to town, it was comfortable and safe. We did have issue with the plumbing in the kitchen sink and it would have been nice to have instructions for how to use the gas appliances because we struggled with the stove and ended up accidentally turning off the hot water tank without realizing so no hot shower in the morning. Overall a nice place; would probably stay again.
Of note: El Calafate has a whole bunch of friendly dogs that will follow you along for walks and hangout……
“I arrived solo at I Keu Ken Hostel on my first night in Argentina/Patagonia. Met great people there to hang out with. I was only there one night and it was definitely nice to arrive at a friendly hostel. The woman at the check-in desk (I forgot her name but she was from Costa Rica) was a gem. So nice, funny, and welcoming. She also made a dinner reservation for us at her friend's restaurant. He makes meals for local in his home! It was such a beautiful experience.”
