nice weekend lake getaway
The property was still being cleaned when we arrived at our check in time of 4pm. The host was quick to reply and immediately acknowledged our frustrations. She made sure to quickly remedy the situation. The house was nice, but did need a good deep cleaning. Lots of dog hair and cobwebs, and the windows were filthy and I had to clean them so we could enjoy the nice view. The beds were comfy and we had plenty of pillows. It was hard to cool, as some others said but they provided fans and once everyone was in for the day it did cool down to a decent temp. The new dock was a nice surprise! The walk down is a bit steep but we expected that. There is also a Lilly pad to use which was another nice surprise. Kitchen is fully stocked and we found most things we needed. Grill is propane which was provided as well. The appliances were all in good working condition. There was a pantry to store all our food. We had plenty of towels, TP, paper towels and trash bags. They even provided body wash and shampoo in the showers which we appreciated. The basement was perfect for the kids, they really enjoyed having their own space, and so did us parents! The views were very nice! And it accommodated our large group perfectly. We will be back in the future!

New Years Stay
We rented this house for New Years weekend.There were 3 families, we all have children they range from 8-16. They loved having their own space downstairs. This house had everything we needed to cook meals. I had a question for the host and they were fast at responding. No issues at all.

Great location and entertainment options, even in colder weather
My family of 13, ranging in age from 8 to 78, stayed Wednesday through Saturday of Thanksgiving week. The location is beautiful, with the trees all around; we enjoyed watching deer out the windows and making smores in the firepit. You can easily walk to the dock to fish, or enjoy a walk on the road. We were able to heat and enjoy the food we brought for our Thanksgiving dinner with no problem, thanks to the adequate cookware and supplies in the kitchen. We drove to Robber's Cave to hike one day and Arrowhead to golf another day, enjoying beautiful foliage and views of the lake. Mama Tig's in Eufaula was a great first night meal; we were able to pick it up to go and bring it back to the cabin. If you have mobility issues, you do need to know that the stairs are very steep, going to the bunk/game room downstairs and the loft/king suite upstairs. My parents slept on the main floor and had no need to navigate them, though. This is a hidden gem, especially for the price, and we enjoyed exploring this beautiful part of the state!

Wonderful Stay
Whole family had a wonderful time. Just a bit of advise, if you are bringing your boat, launch it before you drive to the house. There is no where to turn a large boat around and the driveway is extremely steep.

AC for middle level rooms is not cold. To keep them comfortable you had to have basement COLD. The Back door on the middle level was terrible. Could barely get out!! Definitely don’t bring a boat here. Needs curtains or blinds! Would help keep it cooler and sucks in the mornings! There was a strange waterline in the basement room. Needs fixed with kids around! The kids loved the basement games! The Nintendo was a fun evening feature for them too! They were sad there was no tent in basement tho. The open floor plan on the main level was awesome! We loved that the LillyPad was there we went down and spent the day at the dock. The Cornhole boards were great. Outdoor seating was great. The dock was great. Just needed a shade.

Last vacation before school starts
This is an amazing property for friends and family wanting to enjoy some time together. We had the best stay. So much fun and laughter… especially in the game room. The big kitchen table was perfect for family dinners and board games! We will definitely be back and recommend this home to all our friends and family who are looking for a getaway.

Lost Boys Winter getaway
This home is spacious with comfortable sleeping for 10+. The kitchen was fully stocked with items for making meals, and the coffee bar was a nice feature for morning coffee or after dinner. I wished for a few more seating options for a winter visit for 10 people, but there is 2 very nice patio options for warmer weather. The basement is full of fun for all! We had ping pong tournaments and got to play Christmas music on the downstairs TV, and the kids did some gaming in the game room. Excellent communication with the Host. We enjoyed our family time here, even if we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoors due to winter cold. Recommend.

The house was well appointed . The views from some of the windows are stunning. Communication with the property manager was excellent. The dock is actually surrounded by underwater stumps and exposed trees in the water making docking of watercraft very tricky. The long trail from the house to the dock is very inclined and rocky. The driveway is extremely steep from the road down to the parking in front of the house. Two adults fell at different times trying to walk down the drive.

Lovely place for a large family getaway.
Great house! Well stocked kitchen, bathrooms, etc. But, the real seller is the basement/game room! We had 9 children with us ranging in ages 4-14. Never once heard an “I’m bored”, or “there’s nothing to do” out of any of them thanks to the game room! Well equipped and laid out for toddlers to tweens to have something to do! Great home and host. We are already planning our next trip to revisit this great spot.

Great Vacation!
Overall, this property was great. We enjoyed swimming in the lake. We enjoyed the ping pong table and basketball game. There was a lot to do and it was a lot of fun. We loved the location out in the country but not too far away. The host responded quickly and efficiently to all of our questions and was very helpful. The check in and out had no issues at all. The only thing i gave 4 stars was the accuracy of the listing. The pictures make the house and rooms seem a little bigger than they are. We brought children and we were packed in pretty tight, but it was still fun. There was not a picture of the upstairs bedroom so we did not realize it was a loft. Finally, the pictures make it seem like the dock is connected to the house but there is a pretty rocky and grassy path to the dock. Overall was a great stay!

Family vacation and wedding vow renewal
The house was large enough with 3 full bathrooms and plenty of sleeping areas. Kitchen was stocked with all necessary appliances and dinnerware, glasses and plenty of plastic kid friendly items. The grill was large and thankfully had an extra gas tank. Having a washer and dryer was a huge plus! We enjoyed the lake and dock - although it was definitely a hike down a steep hill to get to it and back up to the house. The back upper balcony was amazing and were we spent a good bit of our time. It was perfect for breakfast! There were games for the kids and two TVs - we didn't use the TV much thou. The owner was readily available via text which was great when we had a question or two. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely stay again.

The place is beautiful! Hands down a little Gem!
Deer ran every where, the dock is just down the hill and there was plenty of space for everyone. We had a group of all ages but it was perfect for everyone. The place really is spectacular.
