I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at La Maison Kalogera. While I never met a staff member in person, communication via WhatsApp was seamless and very convenient.
That said, I wouldn’t describe the room as a “suite” — it felt more like a standard hotel room in terms of size, and the bathroom was quite small. I frequently bumped into the shower glass or the edge of the tile shower tray. The shower itself was a handheld nozzle rather than an overhead fixture, and due to the awkward positioning of the bar, it was difficult to shower comfortably.
The balcony had a small table but no chairs, making it more decorative than functional, which was a bit disappointing.
On a positive note, the building is very clean and stylish, and the location is absolutely unbeatable — right in the heart of everything. For anyone wanting to stay centrally, it’s a fantastic choice in that regard.
It was advertised as having a rooftop terrace, which technically it did, but it wasn’t particularly usable. The cushions weren’t set up, and there was often laundry drying on the rack. If it’s not going to be maintained or guest-ready, it really shouldn’t be advertised as a feature.
Wi-Fi worked well when I was the only one in the building, but slowed to a crawl when other guests were online, which was frustrating.
While this review highlights several drawbacks, I mention them because the price of the accommodation didn’t quite match the level of service and facilities provided.
I would still recommend.
