“What a beautiful place for a bridal party to relax and have fun! We had so much fun fishing at the end of the dock, kayaking, sitting in the screened in porch, and playing games that were provided at the house. Highly recommend for any bridal party or family gathering. ”

“Clean, easy access, walking distance to downtown. Neighbors a bit loud but quieted down at night. Great find for my work trip. I’d stay again :)”

“Stayed with our family of 6 and 2 grandparents. Visited the Spam museum - would recommend it. Plan 1/2 hr to 2 hours if you like to be detailed. Good interaction for kids.”

“Quite enjoyed the peace and quiet while I was working in the area. Beautiful house near the lake. If someone is looking for that quiet, this is The place. ”

“Unique property, would be great for extended remote-work stay given the office. Plenty of space for kids in the lower level. Location right downtown is conducive to walking - and the lake view is great.”

“We stayed at Nick’s place for a month and a half and had a wonderful experience. The location was perfect—right downtown with easy access to the lake, park, restaurants, and shops, all just a short walk away. The rental was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with all the essentials we needed. Nick was a great host, always helpful and quick to respond to any questions. We’d definitely recommend staying here and would happily come back again!”

“We had a great time together at this house. The house was cozy and had lots of spaces for lounging together which is what we wanted! Beds were comfortable. The yard also had a lovely covered spot with a table where we spent lots of time. The one bummer was that we chose this place for the lake access. The listing failed to share that there was no lake access. It said “lakeside” and “lake view” but didn’t say that we couldn’t get to the lake from the house and that was one of the primary reasons……

“The cottage was beautifully decorated for our Christmas celebration with our family. ”

“The house was older, but somewhat updated. The house was older but safe and secure. It was a bit dirty when we arrived, the counters, floors, frig, stove and tables were dirty. There were many finishing touches that were not done in the house, and it just seemed to be rushed through. We have stayed in many VRBO properties, and this one was at the bottom of that list. Overall, it was a good stay, but I don't think we'll be back. ”

“We enjoyed our stay at the Midwest modern home in Austin, MN. Communication with owner was quick and easy. We appreciated the extra towels we requested! Thank you. A couple of thoughts, though. We could only find a partial roll of TP … not enough for 2 people for 3 days. A grab bar in the shower would be a nice safety feature, as would a rail on the back step. Getting in and out with our luggage was tricky! ”
