This unit offers a fully equipped kitchen and washer/dryer for your convenience. The master bedroom includes a king bed, while the second bedroom features two full-size beds. Beach Colony Resort has a plethora of amenities and offers something for everyone, including indoor/outdoor pools, a lazy river, spas/hot tubs, a fitness center, tiki bar, onsite restaurants, private beach access, arcade and more! The resort is located in the heart of the Grand Strand in a quiet family oriented section of the beach.

Nice condo on the beach

We found the beach in this area to be really clean with nice sand. The slope into the ocean is slight allowing you to walk out 100 yards or so before starting to get a little deep. The condo itself is on the 5th floor and the door is conveniently located near the parking garage access. It's a short drive to the amenities on the north beach and the south beach as it is centrally located. It is not an easy walk anywhere but the beach. Even so, I found traffic to be light and parking of no issue everywhere we went in the middle of June. Beach chairs and umbrella will cost you 55/day if you don't have your own. That's too much, and they hog the good area and won't let you put up an umbrella in front of the rentals. That's about the only thing that upset me for the whole week we were there. Check in is slightly dicey as the parking passes are in the room and you can only leave your car out front for 15 minutes to retrieve it. Also the parking garage is a little tight to navigate. All bigger trucks and such are limited to the first floor. I was stuck waiting multiple times for trucks to get maneuvered in or out before I could pass. Don't take a big truck here, you will not be happy. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The condo is pretty decent and the beach is great.

Short but Sweet

My family and i had a great time...there were two teenagers with us and both had a great time bot at the beach (very convenient) and at the pool area. This is a family friendly resort so if you want quiet and peaceful, perhaps this not the place. The room was very dated but it served the purpose and we had a great time.
