We really enjoyed our stay. The Front Desk staff were friendly and helpful. We were on the 2nd floor right above the pool. This made for noisy daytimes as children played and had a great time in the pool, but we could still watch the waves from our balcony. By night time the play had stopped and we could enjoy the sound of the waves. Hotel provides pool towels, although it doesn't mention that in the information they provide. We were told the city rents beach chairs but not while we were there. Umbrellas too. We hung out in the lounges by the pool. You can still watch the waves without getting sandy. We didn't use the kitchen, but if we were going to stay longer we would have. We would have liked to have a toaster. There is a fun dive bar right next door, walkable from the beach or the street. The General Store across the street has a wide variety of items. The resort is a bit south of the main parts of the boardwalk. We walked to some restaurants, drove to others. The lazy river is indoors. Not ideal for soaking in the sun. We would stay here again if we come back to Myrtle Beach. I recommend it.

Pros: Property has a very nice pool area that is fully stocked with pools, hot tubs, floating rivers, tables, chairs, grills, etc. The beach is very nice and clean. The location is good and outside of the main tourist area. Parking was across the street, and we had no issues there. Cons: Every time someone in a room surrounding yours (next door or upstairs) to your room opens/closes the sliding door to the balcony you will hear it. The first day we were there we couldn't figure out where the noise was coming from as it seemed to happen every few minutes. We actually requested to move rooms as we thought it may have been from elevator or nearby maintenance room. However, we got to new room and immediately noticed the same thing. Then when we tried to open our own balcony door we quickly realized where the noise was coming from. The door sticks, and is INCREDIBLY loud and difficult to open - and when you do it makes a large thud. Our room was "clean", but very dated with broken furniture. The main light in the kitchen didn't work, so we had to use light from our phone our the bathroom at night in there.

Toller Ausblick ausm Zimmer, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, das Zimmer war sauber, groß und gut eingerichtet. Das Personal hingegen war nicht besonders freundlich. Beim Check-in würden wir überhaupt nicht herzlich empfangen und auch nicht freundlich begrüßt. Auch den Check-out empfanden wir so (es saß eine andere Person dort). Wir würden nochmal dorthin, aber die Freundlichkeit des Personals war non existent.

The hotel is a great location and staff was very friendly. Parking is across the street. The only down fall is kids were screaming all night til about 130am no one answered the desk phone and the beds were uncomfortable but only there for 2 nights. Pool area were very clean with someone stead by to clean once ppl left all pools were nice and heated was great overall. Also the one bedroom suite we had did have some damage on doors like a pet stretched to get out of bathroom.

The room and views were great! We were pleasantly surprised our room came with a Murphy bed rather than a pull out. Only one negative was that the shower knob had a lot of mold on the inside which could easily be cleaned by housekeeping or maintenance so not sure why this isn’t done.
