I was given a key to my assigned room. Then when I unlocked and entered my room it was someone else’s room and they were in there. It was unsafe & frightened the other guests and myself.

This place was GROSSSSS. We checked in for the half marathon in mystic….. when we got in our initial room it smelt like an ashtray….so they moved us to new room, didn’t smell you think whoa good! until you see the glob of white goop on the floor, the stained tub, half working bathroom light & a water bottle and tooth pick under the bed & two bottles of twisted T full of cigarette buts on the small deck area. I LOL’d at the fact someone bought and placed a fake small cockroach to the dirty windowsills in the stair well… I thought it was a comedic touch, actually a highlight of the stay…. I tried to find another hotel close to the race and was willing to eat the money I already spent… that’s how bad it was … but everyone was full! Alas, I went out and bought sheets and suffered through the banging and loud talking in halls & rooms for the night.

Room with a view has new meaning. Room 216 comes with a balcony and two chairs. It also comes with a great view of nothing but two garbage dumpsters with crap laying around them. The seagulls doing their dumpster diving in and out of the open topped dumpsters before 6am is a great way to wake up. If the birds didn’t wake you then the feeling of falling in a hole would. As in the big broken hole through the mattress. It felt as if a 1,000 Bowling ball had been dropped on it. You could literally sit on that spot and feel the bottom of the mattress. Recommendations: have a system in place that tags rooms like this and do not book them. Replace the mattress. Clean up the dumpsite.

My room was not ready when I got there. So I left and came back had to wait 35 min for someone to show up. I paid my room in full before I got to the hotel. Still had to put down a 100 deposit and it would take 3 to 5 business days to get back to me .

My family enjoyed our trip! Staff was friendly and the diner next door was excellent. This was a perfect location for our visit to the Aquarium and Mystic Village. From the outside it can look a little rough around the edges but our room was clean and comfortable.

When we walked into the first room there was a horrendous stench. The bathroom was disgusting with urine and feces still in the toilet. The toilet and tub loked as though they had not been cleaned for weeks. I had to purchase a container of Clorox wipes and a bottle of extra strength Febreeze of which I used most of just to be able to tolerate staying there. The heat/AC only started working when we played around with the buttons and we even had diculty with the shower which only flowed water after banging on the knob. Lastly, the reservation boasted a coffee maker, which we had all the suppl I es for but no coffee maker to make coffee. The other room we had, contained a jetted tub that did not work. Complaints to management went unattended. I finally reached out to Expedia ,who contacted the facility on my behalf with no luck as I was denied a refund of any sort. So I will never return to this establishment, nor will anyone I know. I will be reviewing this establishment on all available sites. I am truely appalled by the way I was treated.
