“I loved our stay at Hotel Rival. We traveled Scandinavia for over 2 weeks and this was my favorite hotel out of all the ones we stayed at. The room was spacious and the bed comfy. We returned to our room after our day sightseeing with turn down service and sparkling water on the bed stand. The breakfast was delicious and had made to order choices as well as a full buffet. It also had AC which is not always available at Scandinavian hotels. We rented bikes from the hotel and biked all around……

We were greeted by a lovely young woman who took care of our check in, luggage, parking, ice and insured that i woul be comfortable and well taken care of. “(Almost) Perfect hotel
NOFO has lots going for it: boutique hotel with varied decor, the room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was outstanding. Staff were friendly and helpful. Terrific location, very walkable and about 6 minutes to the metro. Trendy shopping and restaurants nearby.
To make it perfect, there should be an espresso machine in the room (only instant coffee packets were available), poor ventilation in the bedroom and no exhaust fan in the bathroom so……
“Really nice hotel with great nautical decor. Quiet, good air conditioning, very convenient to old town Stockholm, nice breakfast with many choices. The staff wasn’t very informed or informative, but we got around where we needed to go. Would definitely stay again.”
“The reception at night didn’t give a clear instruction on how we park our car when we already arrived very late. He can’t speak English very well so we can’t communicate smoothly. Also, the reception at daytime was not keen in answering our questions, which was not we expect for a “four-star” hotel.”

“Loved everything. The breakfast is a must. The staff are sweet. The location is absolutely perfect and the rooms are very nice.
The one issue is the music in the courtyard restaurant and bar, which gets louder on Friday and Saturday night. The windows block the noise very well, so on weeknights it wasn't an issue. But Friday and Saturday they turned it up further and it interfered with our sleep. It is a pity that a 5 star hotel prioritizes the weekend fun for locals over paying travelers……
