“It was perfect for our extended families needing to stay close to Nadi International Airport (5 min drive) for an early morning flight to Australia or, in our case, a late flight to Canada. “For the price paid, the apartment was not ready for us to check in and we spent over an hour waiting for the cleaner to finish. The cleanliness wasn’t great either. “The prices in this property especially in water sports were very expensive and I could see not many people were opting to take this activity. Food prices in some restaurants were very expensive compared to other hotels it would be cheaper to eat outside few times to save some money. There were no Fijian desserts on any menu which was very disappointing as people don’t go to Fiji to eat dessert which they already know or eaten before. Staff were so friendly as they would be. "Travel in Nadi by taxi is easy and not expensive, so although it is not near city center or the beach, transportation is not a main concern. Although the building is a bit old, the room is clean. Just one minor thing, the water is not hot enough for bathroom at midnight while it is normal at the morning. There is a mall nearby, so it is also easy to access for supermarket and restaurants. Resorts in Nadi are expensive, so if you look for a hotel with reasonable price but also acceptable service, Mercure shall be a good choice."
