The staff was wonderful! Mercy and Janet in reception were patient and prompt in answering our questions. Nicholas was amazing in helping us settle into our room. He went the extra mile to work with the reception desk in getting us a more suitable room because the room we were first assigned smelled of fresh paint. Gabriel, the doorman, was just as helpful. Wilson, the housekeeper, did a magnificent job in cleaning our room and making sure we had a good supply of water and coffee! The staff in the Transportation and Tours Desk expertly arranged for a city tour for us. They assigned the most qualified driver, Jaguar. Jaguar did a fantastic job taking us to landmark spots of the city. He did a good job explaining the history and current situation of many of the places he took us to. I recommend him highly for that kind of tour. We got more than our money's worth. We had breakfast and dinner twice in the hotel restaurant. The buffet for both breakfast and dinner is very good--many delicious items. The dining staff, like the other staff in the hotel were courteous and professional. Overall, Radisson Blu, Upper Hill, is among the best hotels I have ever stayed in; and, being a frequent traveler, I have stayed in many! The property is superbly maintained, and the staff is without a doubt, the best!
