“Located on the outskirts of Springbok. Convenient for the long road. Breakfast was plenty. Didn’t try dinner. Pool seems small for the size of the hotel, but it is winter, so we didn’t need it. Rooms are well-kept. The big sign on the road leading to the hotel is falling apart, but the hotel seems newer and well-maintained. ”

“Calvinia hotel was like an oasis in the desert. Comfortable, cool and comforting. We had to book for our return trip as well.”

“Simply an amazing stay. We visited during off season and we were the only ones staying at the Guesthouse. Our room exceeded our expectations and the owner could not have been any kinder. They scrimped on nothing even though we were the only guests. We stayed over on a Saturday night and the small racetrack next door was making noise but it was only for a little while. Breakfast was first rate and cooked to order, fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee, tea, granola, croissants, muffins etc. were also……

“Old school charm lodge with antiques furnishings; comfortable suite; great location/view; breakfast was fine but not amazing; Wifi worked great; TV had more options than I was expecting; bathroom was clean but felt like it was from another era. Overall, I would stay here again and recommend it.”

Всё очень чистое, вода горячая. Рядом с кухней под навесом есть стол и стулья, чтобы нормально поесть. Спасибо. Елена”

“The eco village is tucked away in the private nature reserve. Wonderful views of springboks as you drive to the eco village on the grounds. Rooms were clean and modern, exceptionally comfortable bed. We will welcomed upon arrival with a glass of port - nice touch. Dinner and breakfast were exceptional, tasty food especially the rack of lamb. Stargazing with Eben was an exciting and unique experience. Will stay here again.”
