Ample parking near the entrance to the hotel.
Room was spacious.
Bed comfortable.
Balcony offered a nice view of the pool. It also offerred a hanging rack to dry your wet clothes.
Buffet breakfast was scrumptious. Local gym within an enjoyable walking distance.
The hotel pool provided respite from the hot sun and humidity.
The staff were friendly and genuinely helpful.

“Three nights in Ranong . This hotel was well positioned, clean and quiet . Sports area just behind . The hotel manager was excellent . Helped me get a great scooter and was just a good helpful guy . I slept great . Cold aircon and dark . ”

Could not find anywhere nearby to get food at all & the hotel had nothing.
In the morning I needed to get to the island ferry (my reason for being in Ranong) & again there was no facility to get there. Had to walk a long way with my bag & nearly missed the boat.
Much better to stay in Ranong centre & pay more but be able to eat & get to.places.

“Blu Monkey Ranong is a modern and clean hotel with a nice pool area.
Our room was spacious and clean. Unfortunately there was some people making noise in the hotel, so it was not very quiet.
There is free coffee, snacks and bottles of water available all the time! : )
Location is good if you want to see Ranong walking street. There is many restaurants in the area.
Gym is the smallest gym I have ever been to.”

“Overall for the price this was a good hotel. Not sure why but there was an alarm going off all night long. I think I will avoid this hotel in the future because of this. I was talking to some locals and they told me that the alarm is going on constantly and the hotel doesn’t fix it.”

“It was a great place to hide from the real world. Nice room, good food, but pricey. Lots of mosquitos, couldn’t really sit outside my a/c room in the evening. The spa was wonderful. There was nothing to do in the neighborhood. No public transportation at all.
In our room there was a description of their pool(s) that they had a second pool on the beach front. This led me to believe that we could use it as well as the one on the garden side. But the front desk lady said we could not. I suggest to……
