“This is the best hotel we have ever been to. It is designed, built, and operated by the owner JC Espinoza, an accomplished architect for his clients. The view is simply phenomenal overlooking volcano Masaya which had a minor eruption on Dec 22, 2024. The hotel also overlooks lake Masaya, an old volcano crater. During our 4 night stay, we were practically the only guests there. So, we had the whole villa and staff to ourselves. Road access to this hotel is rural. Best to have a……

“Positive: Very nice property in a lovely location; kayaks and paddle boards available free of charge, clean comfortable rooms, hot showers with strong water pressure, good breakfast Negative: We booked a room with full board but were told upon arrival that the hotel did not even offer full board, that just breakfast was included. Hotels.com needs to look into this issue!! Water in both pools had an oily surface, not entirely clean.”

“This place is truly magical. The location is peaceful and perfect for relaxation. The customer service is outstanding, with staff ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay. The rooms are beautifully designed, and the volcano view was a highlight. The pool is amazing, perfect for pictures, and offers a breathtaking spot to enjoy both sunrise and sunset. “Tavallaan hieno paikka, mutta vähän jotenkin keskeneräinen. Huoneessa ei ollut kaappeja, ei yöpöytiä, ei oikein mitään muitakaan tasoja, minne laskea mitään. Paikallinen aamupala oli hyvä ja runsas, mutta toisaalta illalla tilaamaani hampurilaista en todellakaan halunnut syödä muutaman puraisun jälkeen.”

“Ich war in Begleitung von 6 Erwachsene für nur eine Übernachtung mit Frühstückt in der Posada ecológica la Abuela gewesen. Wir hatte Hütte #14 für 7-8 Personen. Alles war sauber, klimatisiert und ruhig. Das Personal ist sehr höflich und zuvorkommend. Der Ausblick ist gigantisch und das Wasser der Lagune schön warm. Gerne würden wir uns das nächste Mal mehr Zeit hier niederlassen. ”

“The property was quiet, the staff was excellent( especially at the bar and the morning breakfast staff). It’s within walking distance of a ton of restaurants, and all of the churches and plazas. There’s no need to do the horse carriage tours. Visit the chocolate museum. There’s a pizza place across the street. The only slight complaint was that the room was too cold sometimes.”
