“The personel/staff was outstanding friendly, helping wherever they can and very forthcomming. The view from the room is stunning. It is a quiet place with a beach infront, where the snorkling is great (we even saw a turtle!). “We decided to stay two more nights. Hard to find better value for money on koh tao. Stylish b&b with great breakfast and very close to the beach. Balcony with the room is a nice extra. WiFi is not working perfectly and there are roosters that could wake you up in the morning, but those were the only two negatives we could find.”

“We really loved this hotel! Breakfast every morning was wonderful and the family that runs the hostel is so kind and helpful. The only downside is that it is a 15 minute walk (downhill) to the beach and uphill back to the hotel. We didn’t really mind as we usually packed a day bag and only made one trip there and back each day. My one other comment would be that we were in the room right next to the road and it could get quite noisy at night/during the day with bikes going up and down the hill.……

“We had an amazing stay at The Place. It was truly home from home. We were picked up at the ferry terminal and when we left dropped off, we were really well looked after. The villa was so comfortable and had everything we needed. We had a really informative induction to the facility. The views are stunning, the best sunsets. The pool was clean, we often didn’t leave the site, we were there for 11 days and I could’ve stayed much longer. Trips were organised for us. The walk into town was about 10……

“We had a lovely stay and the price over New Years was so much more affordable than many others we looked at. well looked after, massive beds. Up a very steep hill but not a problem for us. Only small comment would be the state of the towels, they were so old or microfibre towels, it would have been lovely to have hotel quality towels to match the place, Koh Tao was also selling towels everywhere so it would be an easy thing to change. There was also no soap etc left in the bathroom, we had to……
