“Great place for a get-away :) The inside of the unit was clean and comfortable. No dishwasher-but not a problem for us. The outside areas could've used some attention (just wiping down), but it was fine. I would give it 4.9 stars for cleanliness if I could. The driveway was trickier than expected. Had we drove my husband's Tundra I don't know that we could've navigated it. It was raining when we arrived and my 2WD car slipped a little going up, but once we got up the hill it was fine. “We really enjoyed our long weekend in Asheville. The house was in a great location. It was in a quiet neighborhood, but a close drive to everywhere we wanted to see. The house was clean, and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back! ”

“We were excited for a longer return stay in Lake Lure.The cabin was just as we remembered it from 3 years ago - very comfy with everything we needed for a relaxing mountain area getaway! We loved being close to Ingles, and the Lake House and Canoe Restaurants. We also enjoyed visiting the Tryon Equestrian Center where some of the Chimney Rock Village shops were able to set up temporarily after the damages from Helene. This was our 4th trip to the Lake Lure Area. Cannot wait to come again in……

“We had a great stay at Keepers Cottage. The views are breathtaking and the cottage very comfy. Judy is very friendly and welcoming. We really needed a refreshing time away. While the lake isn't open yet we still enjoyed the back porch throughout most of our Saturday. We will definitely return.”

“Overall, it was a good stay. Cabin had ample room and amenities. It was well stocked with kitchen and bathroom materials. Our only criticism was there were no test strips for the hot tub (we ave had several tubs and were very critical about testing the chemicals before we got in…but that’s just our own pet peave). All in all, it was a good stay. ”
